The Ministry of Interior (MoI) of Kingdom of Cambodia has declared the validation of the Kouy Indigenous Community’s Legal Entity, which has been registered and recognized by MoI. This event took place on July 23, 2025, at Koh Khnaer village, O Kreang commune, O Kreang Senchey District, Kratie Province, Cambodia. It was organized by community leaders, elders and members under the presidency of the MoI representative, with participation from sub-national and national government officials, and relevant stakeholders. A total of 136 participants were involved, including 63 women.
